This week we made:

Pizza of the Imagination
Pasta with Vegetable Sauce
Although
of course this is just a little confusing as our menus changeover on Tuesdays
so there are some photos included of students working on last week’s menus!!
We
had some very imaginative 'Salads of the Imagination' this week! The one with the
roasted pumpkin was particularly good – it was great to see so much thought and
preparation put into it – well done Daniel, Jason, Rosie and Shaani! In fact we
were inspired to put a pumpkin salad on the menu next week.
The
warm weather continued and so there was lots of watering to be done.
Once
again we were given produce from Ryan – great zucchinis plus rhubarb and a
rhubarb plant. We cooked the zucchinis and rhubarb and Ryan planted the rhubarb
plant.
The
various machines that we use in the kitchen continue to be very popular.
In
the garden we harvested zucchinis, peas, snowpeas, coriander, silver beet,
tomatoes, mint, basil, lettuce, rocket, mizuna and spinach.
Our
pumpkins are still growing!!
It
was good to see Jacob tasting his pasta sauce during cooking and also
encouraging anyone who passed by to have a taste too!
