This week we
made

Salad
Broccoli, Beans and Almonds with Lemon
Ricotta
Pasta with Caramelised Onions
The broccoli
dish was really good, especially as almost all of the broccoli came from our
own garden!
We now have
four dicing machines and we are absolutely delighted with them – they allow
lots of independent (and safe!) chopping and seem to be extremely robust.
Potato salad
was very popular this week – we used chives from our garden for it.
The pasta
attachment for our Kitchenaid is proving
to be invaluable. We use it to roll the pasta out and then use our manual machine for cutting.
This was our
final week for making pizza for this term – the simple ones have been great and
this week was no exception.
In the garden
it was good to see some excellent work being completed on the compost heaps.
Chickens are
thriving!
We are sowing
lots of seeds in readiness for spring.
